My name is Gina Hall, and I am originally from the DC metropolitan area.  I am a writer/editor in the Office of the Administrator at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Headquarters. In my position, I write and edit a little bit of everything, and I designed and currently manage my office’s Web site. I also serve as the primary back-up to the Lead on the Communications Materials Review board, which reviews all of the communication materials that NASA distributes. I earned my B.A. in English with a minor in Communication from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.  When I am not working or in class, I serve as a mentor to three at-risk young girls, and I spend a lot of time on the elliptical machine and strength training.  This is my third course at The Johns Hopkins University, and I believe that learning more about digital technology will strengthen my ability to create and manage Web sites, which is what I would like to focus on more in my career.
